It is believed that Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine,
used only two remedies: honey and apple cider vinegar.
Apple cider vinegar is the result of a fermentation process
of apple juice after sugar and yeast have been added and
turned into alcohol. Further, the second fermentation turns
the alcohol into vinegar.
Apple cider vinegar contains malic acid, which dissolves
uric acid deposits found in the body, therefore being
helpful in a variety of ailments.
Apple cider vinegar is an old folk “miracle cure”
beneficial in treating numerous ailments including
osteoporosis, high blood pressure and cholesterol, digestive
problems, memory issues, and etc.
One of its most welcomed benefits is in the relief of
headaches.
Headaches can have many etiologies like eye strain, nerve
issues, liver imbalance, sinus problems, stomach troubles,
and bowel or kidney dysfunction.
Chronic headaches can be due to long-standing disease – a
signal of the body that deep inside the body, destruction is
going on: the trouble could be anywhere throughout the body:
in the liver, gall bladder, kidneys, bowels, or other
organs; it could also be related to mucus problems,
allergies, or sensitive sinuses.
The other types of headaches are emotional, often caused by
stress, anxiety, nervousness, strain, tension, or other
emotional upsets.
Physiologically, when the body triggers a headache, the
urine changes to being alkaline, from its normal acidic
state. This is a result of kidney disturbance as a result of
emotional upset or any other deeper physiological upsets.
The malic acid present in apple cider vinegar returns the
urine to its normal acidity by helping normalize the
kidneys. As a result, it helps relieve all types of
headaches.
